Live map
See each child on a map, with battery and last update. The day's route stays in history for 30 days.
Places and alerts
Home, school, practice: you get a notification on arrival and departure, automatically.
SOS button
The child asks for help with a long press; you get their location in the same second and an alarm on your phone.
Chat and voice messages
Text them or send a voice message, both ways. The "Call me" signal nudges them discreetly.
Screen time
See how long they spend in each app, per day and per week. Set limits, pauses, school mode and bedtime.
Uninstall protection
Optional: the app can't be removed from the child's phone without you. The child sees it is on.
Transparent to the child
CheckMyKid does not spy. The child always sees what parents see and what rules apply.

How it works, in 3 steps
It takes a few minutes, on your phone and the child's.
Install and create an account
On your phone, choose "I'm a parent" and create the family.
Connect the child's phone
On their phone, choose "I'm the kid" and enter the code from your app.
Done
The child grants the permissions, each with an explanation. From then on you see them on the map.

Frequently asked questions
Does the child know the app is installed?
Yes. A notification is always shown on the child's phone that CheckMyKid is active, and they can see at any time what data is sent and what rules apply. It does not run hidden.
What data do you collect?
Location, battery, time in apps and (optionally) numbers for the call filter. We don't listen to the microphone and don't read messages from other apps. Details in the Privacy Policy.
How much does it cost?
At launch, the app is free, with all features included. If we introduce subscriptions later, we'll notify you in advance.
Which phones does it work on?
We launch on Android first, with the iPhone version to follow. On iPhone some features will be more limited (that's how Apple's system works).
How do I delete my account and data?
From the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by email. See the Delete account page.
